This project was developed with the intention of creating a multimedia design campaign that includes multiple physical poster, web, and social media image formats.
When the project specifications were first presented by the director, I wanted to create a hands on DIY feeling that I had encountered with a improve troupe that would workshop ideas in an alleyway downtown.
Because the subject matter for the theatre production has yet to be determined, I chose to incorporate imagery of objects that portray a symbolic feeling of work to be both created and executed. The imagery mostly is referenced from the theatre's "back of the house" and visuals encountered when entering the theatre.
11"x17" poster design
I created the following mood board to reflect the inner works of the theatre portraying reality/honesty. I've also used a CMYK color pallet to achieve a youthful/contemporary feeling.

The photo grid below depicts some of the reference imagery that was acquired and the illustrations they inspired.
This following grid shows different formats that can be used for website imagery and social media postings, keeping open space for the production description that has yet to be determined.
I thoroughly enjoyed the process of creating this campaign. Incorporating actual imagery from the theatre with illustration and typography was a new venture. I'm very happy with the results and solutions found.
