I was assigned to develop an app by designing content screens considering color and type treatments, applied as a system including icons, infographics and buttons for navigation.
While taking another course involving mass media I came across a marketing system known as the VALS system and found it to be an interesting system to investigate/navigate. I named the project AUDIENCE.

The home screen consists of a bidirectional, scrollable word cloud that provides the user with psychological attributes that are prevalent in the 8 different categories of market segmentation. Each selectable attribute corresponds in color with it's associated category.
Once an attribute is selected, the user is shown a screen that presents the corresponding VALS category with an overall description that considers their income, values and lifestyle.

From the attribute category screen, the user can can make a selection to navigate to the preferred marketing platforms and population percentages that are associated with the category.
Also part of this project was to produce a web landing page for desktop/mobile where the app can be showcased and downloaded.
